Extended Weekend

The Anubis pup’s ears twitched as she looked towards the entryway, moments later the door opened and Anippe was off like a shot

“Auntie V!” She called as she wrapped herself around the jinko’s leg the second the front door closed behind the jinko.

Looking down, Vanessa laughed “Well hey there stranger! What brings you here?”
Anippe giggled “I’m spending the weekend here! Remember?”

“Of course I do!” Vanessa said as she gently pulled the anubis off her leg.

Art rounded the corner and pulled his wife into a hug “Hey you!”

Anippe stood on her tiptoes and gently pushed her ear against Vanessa’s slightly rounded stomach after Vanessa was embraced by her hubby.

“Hey Claire, how are you doing?” she asked the little bump.

While her name wasn’t set in stone yet Anippe had fallen in love with one of the possible names that Art and Vanessa were considering.

Crying Wolf- Chapter 6: The Whole of the Moon

The ogre doesn’t waste much time stomping her foot down on the patch of real-estate Talia was occupying an instant prior. However, the smaller werewolf managed to roll out of the way only to be sent flying after taking a glancing kick from the ogress.
However, the werewolf lands in a hunkered down position, looking almost like an Olympic runner at the starting gate somehow propelled backwards as her claws dig into the turf, slowing her momentum. She immediately gets back onto her feet seemingly unbothered by the abuse the ogress has been dishing out.

“Don’t you know better than to go after a wolf’s prey?” she speaks up.

Crying Wolf- Chapter 5: Diamond Dogs

We got to the ballpark a little early, but the parking lot was already starting to fill up.

I did have a little bottle of sunscreen that I kept in the truck and applied it to my arms and neck as soon as we got out.

“Hang on a sec-” I caution Talia. For the occasion, the wolf-girl was wearing the Sea Wolves jersey I gave her and a pair of shorts. Without giving her any warning, I daubed a little sunblock on the tip of her nose as she scowled at me.

“Don’t look at me like that….” I chuckle. “Unless you want to put it on all by yourself and get it all smeared into your fur.”

I apply a little more to her cheeks and forehead before rubbing it in. Talia’s chortling now.

“What? Does that tickle?”

“Oh that’s not it.” Talia says innocently. “Here I am out in public with you insisting on putting a sticky white cream all over my face in front of everyone, you pervert.”

“And I thought MY mind was in the gutter.” I say as I move around to take care of the back of her neck. Her hair is just long enough that she needs to hold it up when I’m applying the last of the sunscreen.

Crying Wolf- Chapter 4: Of Wolf and Man

Even sweaty and fatigued, Talia still looks terrific. She’s still in her denim shorts and bikini top that she got from the Cupid’s Quiver, wiping her brow with a little hand towel after taking a swig of water from a plastic bottle.

“Damn…..” I begin to say to her with what has to be the goofiest, shit-eating grin on my face. “Didn’t think my nefarious scheme would get found out so early. I mean- I even shaved off the goatee that all evil twins have.”

“Really?” She folds her arms.

“Yup- evil twin style guide.”

“Seriously- what’s going on?” Talia asks. It’s almost as if I’m in trouble with her now.
